Mak Đukan worked as a Junior Researcher at University of Graz and Joanneum Research since April 2014 until June 2015. There he worked on energy efficiency policies in the EU and renewable energy cooperation mechanisms in Western Balkans. From March 2013 until February 2014 he worked for UNDP Croatia on developing renewable energy cooperatives and crowdfunding.
Mak obtained a M.Sc/M.Eng degree in Material Flow Management from Japan and Germany, has studied briefly public policy at Georgetown University in U.S and obtained a degree in economics from Croatia. Mak is a fellow of the German (DAAD) and Japanese (MEXT) government scholarship and member of One Young World and European Forum Alpbach networks.
