The MACSUR Science conference will take place on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th April 2015 in Reading UK, and will be followed on Friday 10th April with a workshop on within theme and cross cutting activities (aimed at those who will be involved in planning MACSUR 2).
The conference aims to develop the future agenda for integrated climate risk assessment in agriculture and food, while reflecting on the work of the MACSUR project. MACSUR is a knowledge hub whose overarching challenge is to develop a pan-European capability in the development, use and interpretation of models to perform risk assessments of the impacts of climate change on European agriculture. The project focusses on the technical and informational integration of suitable existing models and their application in regional case studies that reflect the European diversity in soil, climate, socio-economy and agricultural systems.
