The ECCA Conference 2015 on “Integrating climate adaptation action in science, policy, practitioners, and business” is an initiative of the European Commission, and is organised in a joint effort by three major European climate adaptation research projects: BASE, RAMSES, and TopDad. The conference will take place in Copenhagen from 12-14 May 2015.
The conference will place a greater emphasis on understanding and assessing adaptation in action under the theme: 'Integrating climate adaptation action in science, policy, practice and business.'
The core of the ECCA programme focuses on scientific research and the practical implementation of adaptation measures (including cross-over with mitigation). Special efforts will be made to create synergies between science, policy, business, and practice. Researchers, policy makers, and climate change impact and adaptation businesses are welcomed to share new research results, novel policy developments, and on-the-ground experiences.
