Dr Dora Fazekas is a Senior Economist at Energy2050 in the University of Sheffield, with 10 years’ experience in international translational research. Dora has been successfully bridging academic research with policy-making and technology R&D as Head of Research at the Liquid Air Energy Network, and at the international climate policy academic network, Climate Strategies. She was a Fulbright Scholar at the Lenfest Centre for Sustainable Energy, Columbia University, New York.

Prior to starting her PhD in Environmental Economics she worked at the Hungarian Ministry for Environment in the Energy and Climate Change Unit, and was heavily involved in the implementation of the EU ETS in her native Hungary.
